Dr. Maya Popova
Chief Embryologist
Dr Maya Popova is a clinical embryologist with extensive experience in assisted reproductive technologies and reproductive biology.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in genetic and cellular engineering from Sofia University “St Kliment Ohridski”. In 2019, she was awarded a PhD by the Institute of Biology and Immunology of Reproduction at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her doctoral research focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying impaired male fertility caused by contemporary environmental factors.
Dr Maya Popova is an ESHRE-certified clinical embryologist. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in Bulgarian and international specialist journals in the fields of reproductive medicine, infertility and reproductive genetics.
In her work, she combines in-depth scientific knowledge with extensive practical experience, applying advanced embryological techniques to support successful patient treatment.
