Dr. Dimitar Cvetkov, MD

Dr Dimitar Cvetkov is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology with extensive experience in reproductive medicine and endoscopic surgery.

He graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 2003 and completed his specialist training under the supervision of Associate Professor Svetlozar Stoykov, MD, PhD. During his training, he was awarded the Erasmus scholarship twice and completed a clinical placement at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, Slovenia. After obtaining his specialist qualification, Dr Cvetkov established an independent practice in Slovenia, where he gained valuable clinical experience within one of Europe's leading healthcare systems.

Dr Cvetkov has been part of the team at Nadezhda Hospital since its establishment. He initially worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and, for the past 11 years, has specialised in reproductive medicine.

His professional and scientific interests focus on endoscopic surgery, including operative and office hysteroscopy, the application of laser technologies in gynaecology, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of recurrent pregnancy loss and recurrent implantation failure.

In his clinical practice, Dr Cvetkov applies modern approaches in regenerative gynaecology, combining evidence-based medicine with a holistic approach to reproductive health and pregnancy, while tailoring treatment to the individual needs of each patient.
